It says more and more culture and art to local authorities, with among other «experiments G. Drut» where use of the speakers at lower cost, lower educational qualification. We must refuse the reduction of the educational mission of the school and remittances that follow, to prevent inequality installs and accroisse. We must protect this mission and fight for quality in schools, public service, instead of democratic exercise.
This fight remains to be done for education whose stakes are training to be global. It does not change by decree. It is necessary to conduct an internal working to convince that arts education must take its place in equality and non-uniformity. For that art is not a material but a way a life project. N. In: The New Educator PEMF For teachers review Movements> educational movement in February 1997 Two days of internal studies and a public symposium School, the education system, facing a socio-economic environment in crisis, are increasingly challenged . Youth unemployment and anxiety about their future, the deregulation of educational relations disarray teachers when school seems to lose its relevance and meaning for students, school failure, social exclusion that produce violence both inside and outside the school, the increasing difficulties of orientation, relationships with knowledge of increasingly complex are all concerns of stakeholders in education. It is in this context, the challenges both complex and multiple that ranged the three days of work, 30 September and 1 and 2 October 1996.
They were responding to a double internal and external target. – Internally, these days were an important step because they allow: – to socialize, develop ideas that had already been the subject of groups or work days; – to meet the expectations of activists CEMEA, and mobilize people. – Externally, it was: – to share our analyzes and proposals to the various education partners and to exchange with them; – to assert ourselves in this sector in a period of re-negotiation with the Ministry of Education. Forty-five people participated in the internal study days.
After the intervention of Michel Gevrey, Deputy Mayor of Sarcelles, we worked on four themes: – the development of the child’s time; – educational support; – relations in the establishment and the establishment in the neighborhood; – knowledge that should provide school. One hundred and thirty people were able to discuss the conference. The distribution of participants was significant.
